Square Market Roastery was established in early 2019 as a passion project of its founders. From the humble beginning as a home barista & roaster, both of the founder starts to receive roasted coffee inquiries from their acquaintances both locally and internationally, thus Square Market Roastery was created as a mean to brand the products and to give the coffee an identity.

Since its establishment, Square Market Roastery has expanded from a single location to 2 roasteries, 1 on the island of Java and 1 on the island of Sumatra. Our Sumatra branch, which is located in the city of Palembang, focuses its daily operation as a café and roastery for the fulfillment of B2B demands. Meanwhile, our Java branch, which is located in the city of Tangerang, focuses as a workshop and roastery for the fulfillment of B2C demands. Combining both of our current roasteries production, our roasting capabilities exceeds 500 Kg monthly.

Our philosophy represent an idea that every aspect done in life does indeed have a connection between each other, for such in this coffee industry, there’s an undisputed bond between the nature, farmer, producer, and consumer.
